So the story goes...
Sophomore year dance at St. Xavier (2000)
Eric and Katie met at a high school party, outside beside a mailbox on Burning Tree Lane in Amberly Village. Noticing Eric standing by the mailbox on her way to the car, Katie immediately turned around and approached him, "Cute butt," she joked. After that sort of ice breaker, it didn't take long before their true and lasting friendship was formed.
Hours of phone calls later and years of emailing and letters past written, seeing each other once a year between travels to Costa Rica, Oregon, North Carolina, Washington, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Brazil, Maine, Korea, and Alaska, the two finally said enough was enough.
On September 6th, 2010, Eric proposed to Katie during a privately catered dinner from the Painted Chef, who will also be catering the wedding. The "Yes" came with a tackle to the floor, and the rest will be made history on November 19, 2011. We hope to see you there.

Our invitations...
Our invitations were made in Ohrid, Macedonia. The paper was handmade, and cherry wood was used in order to dye it the pink color. Then, the type was printed on one of the few Gutenberg Presses still operating in the world.
